Committee Member Role Description

 

Position:                     Fundraising Committee Member

Responsible for:       Raising funds throughout the full year

Reportable to:           BGLHC Committee

Appointment:             2 years

 

 

Main Purpose:

 

Ensure that the club has sufficient funds to compete in local, national and International competitions by leading a fundraising committee tasked to organise a calendar of various fund raising events involving the club as a whole, giving a variation of events to suit all ages within BGLHC

 

Key Roles:

 

  • Attend Committee Meetings.
  • Report on Fund Raising issues
  • Convey any other matters arising for committee
  • Participate in discussions and be willing to do job allocated.
  • Organise Fund Raising Meetings. 
  • Ensure all know.
  • Ensure Agenda drawn up.
  • Run Fund Raising Meeting. 
  • Ensure minutes taken and promptly distributed to all Fund Raising members.
  • Fund Raising Committee collate ideas for Fund Raising – make up programme of events and organise them (including delegating tasks to club members)
  • Publicise events and club member requirements. 
  • In advance by chat, email, website and letter.
  • Issue reminders.
  • Liaise with Treasurer(s).  For advance payment/money raised banking.
