Committee Member Role Description

Position:                     Dundee Hockey Development Group Committee Member

Responsible for:       Dundee Hockey Development Group duties      

Reportable to:           BGLHC committee

Appointment term:    2 years

Main Purpose:

To represent BonaGrass Grove Ladies Hockey Club at Dundee Hockey Development Group (DHDG) and report back to the Committee.  Furthermore, to assist in the development of the clubs Youth Section.

Key Duties include:

·         To attend DHDG, which operates approximately 6 times per annum, and ensure the club’s interests are represented at the meeting

·         Establish any issues or concerns from the BGLHC committee prior to the meeting in order to take to the table

·         To provide feedback to the committee on the outcomes of each DHDG meeting and progress any actions between the club and the group

·         To assist in the Youth Development of the club by, for example, establishing and managing satellite Youth Coaching Sessions in partnership with Active School co-ordinators
